Mixed berry snack balls


1 cup of raw cashews or almonds

1 cup of pitted dates or juicy prunes (dried plums)

1/4 cup almond flour

Pinch of salt (or sea salt)

1 tsp of gardamon

1 tsp of cinnamon

1/2 cup of water if needed

(Add raw cacao powder or chocolate nibs if you wish)

1-2 tbsp of chosen berry powder (sea buckthorn gives particularly delicious color)



1. Mix the nuts in your food processor. Add the dates or prunes and mix well.

2. Add the almond flour, cinnamon, gardamon, pinch of salt and berry powder (and cacao/chocolate if you wish).

3. Add in the water – more or less depending on the consistency. You need the mixture to stick together, but still be able to roll it.

4. Roll them with the palm of your hands, then roll in your chosen berry powder and keep in the fridge.

Options: You can also try different variations of these with different nuts, dried fruit, goji berries, shredded coconut, dried figs, roll them in coconut or chia seeds. The list of variations is endless.
