Too busy to prepare a big breakfast? No worries, here’s some inspiration how to stick to your vegan and/or gluten free diet without a hassle. These recipes are super quick to prepare, they are packed with nutrients, thanks to our fully raw berry powders. A teaspoon of the powder is equivalent to a handful of fresh berries so they’ll boost any of your breakfast bowls with healthy stuff, colour and flavour. Eating healthy has never been easier! Also, we must say, getting your nutrients in a food form is a lot more efficient that popping supplements. Your body will actually recognise the vitamins and absorb them. Happy days!
1 ripe banana
200g dairy free yoghurt
1 – 2 Tsps Arctic berries Blackcurrant powder (or any other berry powder)
Tsp honey/agave- optional
Tbsp agave/maple syrup
Heat a tbsp of sweetener and water in a pan over a medium heat until these start to thicken and form a caramel like mixture. Slice the banana into coins and add these into the pan and cook until golden and crisp. Mix the berry powder and sweetener if using into the yoghurt and serve into a bowl. Top with the banana and a spoonful of nut butter, a sprinkle of other berry powders and enjoy!
1 cup of homemade granola of nuts, seeds and gluten free oats. (You can also buy healthy ones)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1 cup of plant based milk
half a cup of sliced strawberries
half a banana
a few toasted almonds
a few dashed of Arctic Power Berries Wild Blueberry powder
edible flowers if you wish
Add all the ingredients into a bowl and add milk on top of them all. Enjoy!
1. Chop ripe and spotty bananas and put them in the freezer
2. Once they are frozen put them in a blender with chosen Arctic Power Berries’ powders and rest of the ingredients. If you like your smoothies a bit sweeter add two dates or a splash of local honey. You can also replace the apple juice with chosen milk.
3. Blend and pour to cups!
4. Garnish with more berry powder, mint leaves, pretty straws and enjoy!
1/2 cup rolled oats
3 tsp of your favorite Arctic Berries Powders
3-5 fresh dates (soak overnight if not using fresh)
1 cup almond milk
A pinch of salt
Toppings of choice such as banana coins, nut butters, berries
Place the almond milk, oats and salt in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let simmer. Pit and peel the dates and mash them with a fork to a purée. Use a tsp of water to get a smoother consistency. Add in the date purée to the pot and stir well. Continue to cook the oats to desired consistency, then stir in the berry powders and pour into a bowl. Top with whatever you like such as more berry powder and enjoy!
