Layered vegan smoothie for slow weekend mornings!

Happy weekend!

What makes a successful weekend? Good food, a lot of sleep, parties or perhaps a refreshing, delicious breakfast? We think that a good, nourishing breakfast gives the day a good, positive start.

This vegan layered smoothie it's not only very very pretty, it's delicious and loaded with nutrients so whatever you get up to this weekend, you'll have more energy and Arctic vibes! Try and see yourself!

Three layered smoothie

1 cup soy yoghurt

1/4 cup mashed strawberries

2 tsp wheatgrass powder

1-2 tsp lingonberry or cranberry powder

1 ripe, spotty banana 

1 pinch vanilla powder

 

Extras: kiwi, puffed buckwheat and blackstrap molasses

 

1. Blend the soy yoghurt with the banana  and vanilla powder until smooth and pour into three different bowls. 

2. Add wheatgrass powder to one bowl, mashed strawberries to another and lingonberry (or cranberry powder) to the last one and mix well. 

3. Layer the smoothie in a jar, top with the puffedbuckwheat and drizzle with a spoonful of blackstrap molasses. Serve immediately!
